A Giclee Print is produced with continuous ink jet technology on an Iris digital printer.

The process is recognized as the most superior of print formats- archival colour quality and steadfastness are among its many attributes.

Iris Graphics has received a trademark on the name Giclee. In French, it means "sprayed," or "jetted". This reflects how the Iris print engine deposits ink on paper, canvas, or other materials that artists and printmakers favour. Original work is scanned or photographed into a computer, then sent on to the Iris printer. Giclee is the method of choice for TollingBell & Derek Cooper is the only one I'll let shoot and print my work.
